Please take a look at the following:
Timber Treatment
Wood Boring Insects
Any timber treatment carried out by W.M.T.P must be left for a minimum period of 28 days from original impregnation and must not be subjected to any intense heat for this period. No other chemicals are to be applied (except for varnishes and paints).
NOTE: The appearance of bore dust from flight holes after treatment may be due to vibration or other causes and does not necessarily indicate continuing Beetle activity. It is possible for deep seated larvae activity to exist in treated timbers. However on emergence of the adult Beetle after pupation, the treatment will render the Beetles infertile and eventually die out. The infestation is eliminated in one life cycle of the Beetle.Dry Rot
Any blocked or broken drains must be cleaned or replaced immediately.
Any timbers placed in walls or sub-floor must be suitably protected both below the damp proof course and above the damp course level.
All air ventilation to sub-floor should be kept clear, air flow is not to be restricted.
All timbers referred to in our specification are covered by our guarantee. Should any of these timbers be found to be actually infested by Beetle or fungal attack against which it has been treated W.M.T.P will, subject to conditions as detailed above, reinspect for which a fee will be charged. However if all conditions have been met the fee is reimbursable and any further treatment would be carried out under the terms of the guarantee.
Removal and reinstatement of all fitments, carpets, etc. will be the client’s own responsibility.
